I want to apply for right of abode entry to the UK, how is this different to Working Holidaymaker?
In NZ you can apply through the online application system of the British HIgh Commission, and will then need to forward documents to Wellington. Otherwise you can apply by completing the forms and submitting the necessary documents. Contact us if you need the paperwork.
There is no requirement to demonstrate funds, however we would suggest you take enough to support yourself for a couple of months - "£1500 is usually advisable."

What is the local currency in relation to Kiwi Dollar? Your banks website will have current rates, they are also in the daily newspapers and on the news.

Will my EFTPOS/Credit card work overseas? Yes as long as you have a PIN on it and on the back of the card it has a small logo with Plus, Maestro, Visa Interlink or Cirrus - these symbols mean the card can be used internationally with affiliate banks.
